4. The other thing that needs to be taken into account is what style of storage you want the bed to come with. Some of these beds have draws which slide out from the undersides of the bed, whilst others allow the top of the bed, on which the mattress lays to be raised.

If you are intending only to keep small items such as clothes in a king platform bed then the one with drawers at the side will be more that suitable. However if you would like to store away much larger items such as pillows, duvets and bedding then the one where the end lifts to allow the whole space to be used underneath will be a far better choice for you.
